Gay and Bisexual Men suffer higher rates of loneliness, depression, and suicide. Quite often they have no one the can speak with, or know where to turn to during episodes of depression.
Joining a men’s social group can be a good place to start. A place to speak with fellow men in a non-judgmental space, however not all men’s groups are suited for this. It can be difficult to find a men’s group that is willing to converse on critical topics.
We encourage Gay and Bisexual men to seek out mental support at their local LGBTQ+ Center. You can take an online depression screening test at http://www.mentalhealthamerica.net/ , and also seek out resources.
